MARIUS JACOB FONDATION
A collective and self-managed financial tool to support resistance, alternatives and struggles
The institutionalization of social movements often limits their political actions into reformist demands that are acceptable by the existing system.
Our belief is that what will, deeply and sustainably, change the world we live in, are grassroots social movements and the collective energy of people who want to engage in the build-up of a different society. This being said, it is obvious that these movements will need resources (financial and/or other) to succeed, thrive and replicate.
We think that this transformation includes collective empowerment, creation of radical alternatives, direct action and resistance to injustice and the destruction of life. Your support can provide the resources needed for grassroots social movements!
The Foundation has been created on May 13th, 2019 with the support of 41 poolers. The first grants will be financed by the Fall of 2019. Therefore we need 20.000 euros of equity and 50 people financing the mutual income fund.
If we want to make it, WE NEED YOU!
Our Foundation is still in development, with lots of different activities to take care of. Any support (with time of resources) is welcome.Get involved in the Foundation Support us via Open Collective

appartiendra à tous. »
